12 DAY UGANDA SAFARI
Leaving the bustling city of Nairobi at 09h00 we travel to Elsamere near Laske Naivasha the former home of George and Joy Adamson of Elsa the Lion fame. After lunch we enter the Masai Mara Game Reserve. The next two nights we camp and explore the park and its amazing wildlife. Here there is wildlife to see in abundance
After a morning game drive we head off to our camp on the Uganda border. Today we cross the Equator to enjoy and be thrilled by the amazing scenery of the Forest Reserves.
Today we start our trek to the source of the White Nile. We browse around in the market and participate in thrilling activities such as white water rafting(own expense) This enthralling lake is the largest lake in Africa and generates amongst other things, a livelihood for the many fishermen who live along its banks here you can whet your appetite by sampling local cruisine with local ingredients.
KIBALE FOREST RESERVE
We set off to Kampala capital of Uganda. After lunch at Lake Wamala we head west to the Kibale Forest Primate Reserve. This reserve borders on Lake George which flows into the Lake Edward Lake. Here we spend two days admiring the vista/landscape of reshwater lakes. The nightly calls of the local primates will overwhelm you!
We pass by Mt Stanley and make a stop at Kasese. Mt Stanley is the highest summit in the Ruwenzori mountain range and is also the home of the renowned mountain gorillas. If we should see these wonderful animanls it would be a once-in-a-lifetime experience! It is also possible to go (at own expense) on an extended tour with a local guide.
QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK
We spend one night in this park enjoying game drives and sight-seeing par excellence you will gain an amazing amount of information
Today you will explore Ssese Island where you can enjoy local foods and cooking styles. Thould you feel adventurous this would be the day weather permitting, upon which you could, if desired, go diving (own expense) you would be accompanied by local divers.
After breakfast we head to Entebbe where we say farewell to our fellow travellers and go our separate wys.

Bird Watching remains one of the most south after activities at Msai Mare. The Parkis inhabited by over 470 species of birds from vultures to marabou storks, ostriches. African pygmy falsons and the lilac breasted roller amongst many others.
