Welcome

Welcome to South Africa. This privately guided luxury journey has been designed to showcase the very best of South Africa’s wildlife, scenery, culture and hospitality. You will be personally welcomed on arrival by Eliza Bezuidenhout, Director, who will remain available throughout your stay and will meet you again before your departure.

 

Day 1 – Friday, 14 August 2026 – Arrival

Upon arrival you will be personally welcomed by Eliza Bezuidenhout and transferred to your luxury hotel.

The remainder of the day is at leisure to rest after your international journey. Overnight: Gauteng.

 

Day 2 – Saturday, 15 August 2026

Pretoria & Cradle of Humankind

Meet your private guide after breakfast. Visit the Voortrekker Monument, Enjoy lunch before departure the UNESCO Cradle of Humankind and Maropeng Visitor Centre. Returning to your hotel. Overnight: Gauteng. (Near OR Tambo Airport)

 

Day 3 – Sunday, 16 August 2026

Greater Kruger

After early morning breakfast we start our drive to Mpumalanga. Upon our drive you will have time to experience moving from one province to the next. We arrive at our park reservation at one of the best wildlife areas; here you will spend the day on a safari with your ranger and we will visit various water holes, lookout points & rivers. Upon our arrival You will book into your Safari lodge before Afternoon game drive followed by dinner. Full day. Dullstroom Overnight: Greater Kruger.

 

Day 4 – Monday, 17 August 2026

Kruger National Park

Today after breakfast we will start with a Full-day game drives in search of the Big Five and not missing out on over 100 mammal & 500 bird species. Bush dinner. We return to the lodge/hotel late afternoon (around 4 pm) after a great day on safari. You can then relax and even jump into the swimming pool before we have dinner at the lodge.

Day 5 – Tuesday, 18 August 2026 – Panorama Route

Graskop Gorge, God’s Window, Bourke’s Luck Potholes and the spectacular Blyde River Canyon

We heading this morning to Graskop, famous for the array of curio shops followed by the majestic God’s Window, then Bourke’s Luck potholes, as well as Lisbon Falls. The day will end our journey the world’s 3rd largest canyon and world’s largest canyon – the Blyde River Canyon and. and scenic three Rondavels.  Overnight: Greater Kruger.

 

Day 6 – Wednesday, 19 August 2026 – Cape Town

Arrive in Cape Town International Airport, V&A Waterfront, Bo-Kaap

Early morning after breakfast, we will say goodbye to Mpumalanga and take a flight to Cape Town. Capetown is comenly known as “Mother City” as we were Colonised by the Dutch in 1652. At arrival you will be met by your guide. You will experience a short Introductory Tour to Cape Town, due to the arrival times.  We will enjoy a drive to explore with a visit to Bo-Kaap (Cape Malay Quarter) where you will enjoy a welcome lunch and view the art gallery. We make our way visiting Signal Hill for a spectacular view over the Atlantic Ocean and where The Robben Island is Located. This Island is where Nelson Mandela spent 18 of his 27 years prison sentence. Your day will end being transfered to the hotel for check in.

Day 7 – Thursday, 20 August 2026

Table Mountain, Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens

After early morning Breakfast, we will start our morning at Table Mountain (rated in the 7th new wonders of the world). We will embark on a cable car to the top, with a guided walk where you will be shown various look-out points to experience the magnificent splendour of Cape Town. As our journey continue, our next visit will be to Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, the oldest indigenous Botanical Garden in the world. Here you will learn about the unique and endemic flora micro diversity, with backdrop of mountains, hills and colourful flowers even in winter. Nestled against the eastern slopes of Table

Mountain, this 528-hectare reserve showcases an extraordinary variety of South Africa’s indigenous plants in beautifully landscaped surroundings.

Day 8 – Friday, 21 August 2026

Cape of Good Hope, Campsbay, Chaplain Peak, Cape Point, Cape Good Hope, Boulders Beach Penguin Colony, Kalk Bay, Muizenberg

We enjoy our breakfast and set off to explore the Cape of Good Hope and surroundings. We visit

Campsbay, Chaplains Peak rated as one of the world’s 5 most beautiful drives. At Cape Point you willstand looking at nothing but “storms” where unpredictable weather systems sank many ships. From the lighthouse you can learn more about the legend (The Flying Dutchman) that sunk and in folk lore a “ghost” ship. This is where two oceans current meets. We enjoy lunch at a lovely seafood restaurant before we head to see the African Penguins at Boulders Beach. You will visit the giant fishing Town of to view seals at the harbour before we head to Muizenberg for ice-cream and a beach walk. Overnight: Cape Town.

 

 

Day 9 – Saturday, 22 August 2026

Winelands tour in, Paarl, Stellenbosch, Franschhoek

After breakfast we make way to South Africa’s world’s best and unique wines, dynamic mountain ranges and amazing scenery. We know today as the “Tipsy Balance” as the day will start with Cheese and Wine pairing at the famous Wine Farm in Paarl. Our next visit will be Franschhoek for chocolate and wine pairing, an extremely old boutique winery called La Bri (dating back to 1694). Lunch time we will stop to experience a lovely atmosphere of the quaint town lined with boutique shops, art galleries and relaxing hours. We will end the day at the Japanese Style house situated in the middle of a lake with Khoi fish and an incredible mountain back drop.

Day 10 – Sunday, 23 August 2026

Whale Tour

August will be the whale season and the best way to experience these amazing mammals is by taking a whale boat from the lovely seaside town of Hermanus. Today you will have sufficient time to shop for great deals, unique clothing, jewellery, arts and craft. Lunch will be by the seaside right on the rocks, literally 20 meters from the Ocean. We will have an opportunity to explore last moments together making the end of this journey in Cape Town worth every memory.  Overnight: Cape Town.

 

Day 11 – Monday, 24 August 2026

Airport transfer to Cape Town international Airport – Flight to Johannesburg.

Today you will be transferred to Cape Town International Airport. if your flight departs in the afternoon or in the evening you may enjoy your breakfast at the hotel and wait for your driver to pick you up at the agreed time based on the flight departure time Upon Arrival, your guide will meet you and transfer you to your Hotel.

Overnight: Gauteng. (Near OR Tambo Airport)

 

Day 12 – Wednesday, 25 August 2026 – Johannesburg

Early morning after Breakfast, your guide will meet you for a day’s outing. You will be provided with options for your choice. The afternoon will be at leisure for last shopping, visiting the nearest town or  relaxation. It is time to pack and getting ready as tomorrow you will say goodbye to South Africa, In the evening you will enjoy a farewell dinner. Overnight: Gauteng. (Near OR Tambo Airport)

 

Day 13 –  Thursday, 26 August 2026 – Departure

Today you will be transferred to the airport where Eliza will personally assist with departure formalities. We bid you ‘Arrivederci, a presto!’ and wish you a safe journey home.
